Day of New Years Eve

It's hard to tell from these pictures but we had 30 cm of snow overnight (11.8 inches for you Americans). The snow in the yard is about 2 feet deep (knee high), higher in some places where the wind drifts the snow. It's nice outside today, a balmy -10, -17 with the windchill. Thank goodness for snowblowers. I started snowblowing at 10:30 then went to Mom-in-laws to do hers and finished at 1:30. There are lots of cars getting stuck on the roads. It's good that this happened during holidays as the city would be partially shut down during the week.
